It invites each person to reconnect with their senses, to awaken the deep perception within, and to traverse invisible bridges between curious and connoisseurs. Incense & Fragrance upholds the timeless art of incense-making, an ancestral craft rooted in the Byzantine monastic tradition. From this heritage arise new creations – soaps, scented candles, ambient fragrances and exquisite essences – each designed to grace the home with the quiet elegance of a ritual.
A place of calm near Brussels
Insensum has found its home at La Rivelaine, a former square farmhouse situated near Brussels, the capital of Europe. The place exudes calm and simplicity. It is inhabited by a small, open spiritual community, whose wisdom of life is deeply rooted in the rich monastic traditions of both East and West.
In this setting, craftsmanship, contemplation, and sustainability come together in harmonious balance.
