Description
The violet is said to be the scent of “holiness” because its sweet fragrance emanates from many saints’ tombs. This fragrance is intended to be just a fresh, natural, simple, and discreet violet, barely dressed with a hint of lemongrass. The greenness of the violet leaves is polished by the soft purple petals of their corolla, which they embrace in a beautiful flourish. The barely perceptible green and earthy note, combined with the citrus note, prevents the violet from turning into the typical barley sugar of violet candies. A delicate layer of natural iris butter, a very expensive ingredient in perfumery, prolongs the powdery, fruity, and floral ionones with transparency and softness. This impression of delicacy remains throughout the olfactory evolution, with its youthful, feminine, subtle, and spring-like charm.
