How do you burn Insensum incense?

To burn our incense (to melt the grains so they release their fragrance), small round and flat charcoals specially designed for this purpose are generally used.

  1. Light the charcoal with a flame until it becomes red hot.
  2. Place it in a censer or incense burner.
  3. Using a small spoon or tweezers, place a few grains of incense on the charcoal.

There are also other types of incense burners that use a tea light candle. This type of combustion produces less smoke and is often better suited for domestic use. An incense burner of this type, specially developed for Insensum, will be available soon.

Usage Tips for Insensum Scented Candles: For optimal and safe use of your scented candles:

  • Storage:Keep candles upright, away from direct sunlight or excessive heat sources to preserve their fragrance.
  • Placement:Place them on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, fabrics, or any flammable products.
  • Wick:For optimal burning, trim the wick to 0.5 – 0.6 cm above the wax at least every four hours. Extinguish the flame and allow it to cool before cutting. Watch for “mushrooming” (a buildup of sooty carbon) on the wick; cut it off as soon as you see signs of it to avoid black smoke.
